Students that serve on the Greek Council are elected representatives of the active chapters and colonies of the national Men’s and Women’s social fraternities chartered at the University of Utah. They serve as the liasons between the Greek Community and the University Administration, Neighbors, Media, other student groups and organizations as well as the community at large. They associate together and facilitate communication between the groups mentioned above as well as between the chapters on our campus. The councils are lead by the Panhellenic President (Sororities) and the Interfraternity Council President (Fraternities), they work closely with the the Student Affairs staff and Assistant Dean of Students & Greek Advisor.
